We are so excited to host Awana at Willowbrook Park Baptist Church, we pray as we partner up with your families to teach your children God's word they become disciples of Christ and God's name be glorified.
This program is available for kids from 3 years old to 6th grade.
- Cubbies 3years- 4 years
- Sparks k-2
- Truth and Training: 3rd-6th grade
This year, AWANA will run from September 8, 2023 - April 12, 2024 from 5-6:30pm on Fridays. (We will follow the DOE school schedule with closures). The fee is $30, of which $15 will be collected at registration- this will cover all the supplies for the year that your child will need including badges; the second payment will be due at the completion of their first entrance booklet which makes them official clubbers and they will receive their books, vest or shirt, and 1st badge!
Each week, your child will rotate through three sessions.
During Large group: Clubbers will learn bible lessons together as a group in their classroom.
During small handbook time, Clubbers will go over their entrance booklet and memorize key scripture. At the completion of these packets, they will become official clubbers and receive their vests, first badge and handbooks. Which they will use all year, at home and during this session!
During our Game time, your child is encouraged to participate in age-appropriate group games, fostering teamplayer skills for all athletic abilities.
Awana is designed to best serve your children when home and church are working together. Please look through your child’s Awana handbook each week and work with them on their verses! We look forward to working with you, while making a commitment to learn the Bible together weekly!
